An incredible one-in-three motorists does not understand what ABS means! Jargon such as this – it stands for Anti-lock Braking System – along with ESP and even bhp baffles many car buyers, according to classifieds website Motors.co.uk. Nearly half of the 2,500 drivers it polled were unsure of the term ESP (Electronic Stability Program), while a quarter didn’t know bhp stood for brake horsepower. The results show that compiling a car advert isn’t simply a case of cramming in as many abbreviations as possible, and highlight the need to spell out information.Bookmark this post with:FacebookDiggDeliciousFurlStumbleupon
