Shares of Motorola Inc. fell in Thursday's premarket trading session, after the cell phone maker forecast lower second-quarter sales and an operating loss because of soft demand for handsets. Shares gave up 30 cents to $17.65, following a $17.95 finish in regular trading.

CDW Corp., a provider of technology products and services, said Thursday its average daily sales climbed 25 percent for the month of June. The average daily sales for the month were $34.2 million, up from $27.3 million in June 2006.
