Current GM owners offered extra truck cash

DETROIT — General Motors Corp. is offering cash incentives of as much as $4,000 on seven large sport utility vehicles and pickups after sales dropped a combined 27 percent.

The program, begun June 7 and running to the end of the month, offers cash back to owners of GM models from the 1999 model year or newer on models including GMC Tahoe hybrid SUV, Cadillac Escalade SUV, and Chevrolet Silverado pickup.

The offer is in addition to existing programs.
